To Grey Ghost Farm! It is our special little place,
nestled in the woods of New Hampshire's Monadnock region. Our rustic log cabin is surrounded by woods
and a pasture that our horses enjoy.

Winter is here, bringing snow and ice. An early December ice storm left many residents without power for up to a week or longer. With an inch of ice coating their branches, many trees fell across roads and power lines. We lost power for four days but stayed warm and comfortable with our wood stove and a generator.

Last February, I rescued Buddy from a Georgia shelter on his last day. With the help of rescue volunteers, we arranged his trip to New Hampshire. Read more about Georgia dogs and rescue under Saving Georgia Dogs.
